Flower Care
Tips to enjoy your flowers longer
Cutting
Cut the stems at an angle (approx. 2 cm) with a sharp knife — not scissors. Do this upon arrival and repeat every two to three days. This allows the flowers to absorb water optimally.
Water
Use clean, lukewarm water and refresh it every two days. Make sure no leaves are submerged — this prevents bacterial growth and keeps the water clear.
Temperature
Place your bouquet in a cool spot, away from direct sunlight, heating sources, and fruit. Heat and ethylene (from ripe fruit) accelerate wilting.
Flower Food
Add the included flower food to the water. It contains sugars for energy, citric acid to lower the pH, and an antibacterial agent.
Extra Tips
- Remove wilted flowers to help the remaining blooms last longer.
- Use a clean vase — bacteria are cut flowers' biggest enemy.
- Keep flowers away from draughts and air conditioning.
- Tulips keep growing after being cut — that's perfectly normal and part of their charm!
